Hunter's 50th Anniversary
This is the 2011 version of The Hunter Family. They all gathered for a 50th anniversary celebration that will never be forgotten. The kids did an amazing job putting this together, and taking the famly on a walk down memory lane. Every family participated in some way to share memories of the past 50 years. I was so impressed with the "on board" attitudes everyone had, especially the guys. There was so much love and happiness present that I feel it was truly a blessing to be able to witness it. These guys sure know how to show their parents how much they love them and how much gratitude they have for them.
The ORIGINAL Hunter Family
Unbelievable...every descendant of Richard and Nan Hunter joined in to a FLASH MOB. They ALL knew the dance and just when to come in. It was awesome and hilarious.
Need I say more?
A free-form interpretional dance to "Born Free"
Re-enacting the traditional 4th of July parade.
A choreographed "Zippity Doo Daaa" dance
They had served as mission president in New Zealand so the Mauri's came to visit and teach the boys the Haka.
The eight kids sang an original song that summed it all up.
Nan gave Richard this beautiful temple. They just finished up serving as temple president at the Oakland temple.
The Flash Mob once again. It was truly amazing.
They didn't have a cake at their wedding, so 50 yrs later, they finally got it.
I think in the end, the smile on this cutie's face says it all. It was a beautiful, fun, very loving evening and I'm so grateful I was able to be more than just a fly on the wall.
